salt analysis 2
None

please tell what the respective vapours or ppts or solutions are

1)sulphide salt sol+sodium nitroprusside(by the way what is it?)+NaOH---->purple colour

saltsol+CdCo3(sol)---->yellow ppt

salt sol+ch3COOH+CH3CooPb(isn't this lead acetate)------>Black ppt

2)Carbonate

salt sol+MgSO4--->white ppt

3)a)chlorine salt+K2Cr2O7+concH2SO4--------->reddish vapours

red vapours+NaOH------->yellow sol

yellow sol+CH3COOH+CH3COOPb------------>yellow ppt

b)salt+Mno2+C0NC H2SO4---->greenish yellow vapours

4)bromide sAlt sol+CCl4+chlorine water(what is chlorine water)-------->orange yellow globules

5)iodide sAlt sol+CCl4+chlorine water(what is chlorine water)-------->orange yellow globules

6)phosphate salt sol+conc HNO3+Ammonium molybdate(what isthe formula?)---->canary yellow ppt

For sulphide-----------
1)Na2S +NaOH+Na2[Fe(CN)5NO]sodium nitro prusside--------------->
Na4[Fe(CN)5NOS] Violet colour
2)Na2S+CdCO3------->CdS(YELLOW) +Na2CO3
3)Na2S+(CH3COO)2Pb---------->PbS(BLACK)+2CH3COONa
FOR CHLORIDE SALT------------------------------------------------------
a)chloride salt+K2Cr2O7+Conc H2SO4-------------------------------->
CrO2Cl2(Chromyl cloride)(Reddish vapour)
CrO2Cl2+4NaOH--------->Na2CrO4(sodium chromate,yellow)
Na2CrO4+Pb(CH3COO)2+CH3COOH------>PbCrO4(Lead chromate,yellow)
b)Chloride salt(NaCl)+MnO2+2H2SO4----------->Na2SO4+MnSO4+2H2O+Cl2(Greenish yellow)
FOR BROMIDE SALT------------------------------------------------------
Bromide salt+CCl4+Chlorine water----------------->
2KBr+Cl2------------>2KCl+Br2
Br2+CCl4------------->Brown layer
If excess of chlorine water is used,the layer becomes pale yellow colour due to the formation of Bromine mono chloride.
5) For iodide salt same results obtained and in place of Br2 , I 2 is formed(violet colour)
6)FOR PHOSPHATE SALT----------------------------------------> Na2HPO4+12(NH4)2Mo O4(ammonium molybdate)+23 HNO3-------->
2NaNO3+21NH4NO3+12H2O +(NH4)3[P Mo12 O40](AMMONIUM PHOSPHO MOLYBDATE) Canary yellow
