crystalline solids are those which have symmetry translational,rotational and reflexion symmetry and they have long distance order as well amorphous solids dont have have long distance order only short distance may be 2 units

the natural tendency for most substance is to form crstaline solids when cooled below their melting point.but certain subs like glass tars do not crstalline when cooledto and below their mp when they cooled rapidly.known as amorphous solid means without form.
