mass equivalent or equivalent mass means the mass of the substance required to supply or react with one mole of H+ ions in acid base reaction.when it comes to redox reaction it is the amount of substance that can supply or produce one mole of electrons. its simple dear just divide the molecular weight with the oxidation state you get eq weight

Milliequivalent of an ion
mEq of any atom (can be calculated as the no. of H+ or OH- that will be attached to the amount)
eg:
for Na+: 1mmol of Na+ = 1 mEq. (as only 1 OH- can be attached)
for Ca+2 : 1 mmol of Ca+2 = 2 mEq.
and so on!!!
