one mole of nitrogen colliding with 3 moles of hydrogen to give one mole of NH3
ok
yeah it is elementry reaction

Remember mates ...molecularity greater than 3 are highly improbable as per collision theory !!! Plz support ur answers with authentic expln 4 calling it an elementary reaction...

molecularity is possible upto 4
but not beyond it
and for ur question
since the hydrogen molecules are small in compare to the nitrogen molecules so it can be expected that all 4 molecules in this reaction will collide at same time and convert into products......................but if all molecules are of comparable size then this reaction would be rare....................hope u got it...................................

sorry for both of you
but molecularity is the total no of molecules with smallest integral coeficient colldin for formation of product
here
N2+3h2->2NH3
here 1+3=4
SIMPLE MATHS I SUPPOSE

Are you guys solid...????Can I trust fully...?
PLease, if any experts cum this way,
"Could you please confirm it?"

My teacher said u need to enquire into the detaiked kinetics of the reaction..like the reaction mechanism for answering this unambiguously...

@divineexsoul
molecularity of any reaction cannot be greater than 3 as not more than 3 molecules can collide together.That's my simple physics.So Molecularity of the given reaction is 3 as both , are colliing with the catalyst hence it is 3
