i think this is due to large electron density in the region between the nuclei (in BMO), as a result , repulsions b/w the nuclei is very small....but in antibonding MO , electron density is very less....so nuclei repel from each other....these repulsions are very large , so ABMO is raised with much higher energy
dats y ABMO has higher energy than BMO...
dats y ABMO has higher energy than BMO...













ABMO IS MORE DELOCALISED THAN BMO SO IT HAS GREATER ENERGY THAN BMO......
