why does electron don't repel each other when they combine together to form bond?

they do but force of repulsion is not as strong as compared to the force applied on them for their bombardment

Remember, the repulsion is not that strong because both have opposite spins in a bond.

i think the energy being supplied is more than the repulsion of the electrons and thus they combine to form a bond

yeah of course they repel but the nuclear force of attraction between the elctron and the nucleus of the other atonm overcomes this and provides the neccesary energy!!!(in fact more than sufficient one)

let me try to provide a more convincing ans to this...
see u must understand that in an atom , 2 forces operate..
force of repulsion between electrons and force of attraction between electron and nucleus (i.e. protons)
whenever the force of attraction is greater than force pf repulsion, only then bonds are formed... and energy is released in the process...

well what the explanation usually professors give is that when the atoms approach each other ...attraction force is dominant .....and when potential energy decreases to minimum value then the dominance shifts to repulsive force and thus when the atoms approach more closer the repulsive force dominates.
