heylo georgek
first of all congratulations on clearinbng the first round .
now as techak has already said MAt is very important .
u see i m also an ntse scholar , and in my time the ntse part 2 MAt was very very tough . those sitting in my room ...mostly delhi toppers ....were not able to solve more than 50-60 questions.
but the SAt part was extremely easy
last year it was the reverse .
so i wud advice u that for second level ur speed in MAt wud matter a lot . conslt any good book ... i suggest u bookhive for i myself found the MAt section very useful .
and do not forget to focus on ur SAt as well . i however wud advise u not to go too much into class 11 syllabus . just keep ur basics clear and yes if u really think that something needs to be done , then go ahead with trigonometry , vectors and a bit of current .
hard work will bring u success .
wishing u the very best of luck

1. foundation science physics and chemistry
2. CBSE science and technology biology ...by anita prasad
otherwise buy bookhive's ntse guide ... a gr8 book to help u out

I dont have any answer for you question but a question to ask.
my son is in class IX now , and I want him to appear for NTSE next year. It would be helpful if you can tell how to start preparing for the NTSE.
