Will it be better to study fiitjee's study material? or study renowned writers book? if yes , then please provide the list of books. I will appear for IITJEE in 2009. I am an ICSE board student.

see both things are gud for preparation . while fiitjee material will keep u in track , books like himanshu has pointed out will help u develop the concepts well . so , as far as i suggest , go in for fiitjee material. but also buy the folowing books .... not many just the following ... i thnk it wud be enough phy : hc verma chem : rc mukherjee , peter sykes ( more concise as compared to morrison boyyd) maths : tmh

Ya, whether you Fiitjee or not, reading H.C. Verma's 'Concepts of Physics' is compulsory! For beginners (i.e. for first learning) the books of your own course ( I.S.C.) are pretty good.

I think Asit Dasgupta is the best book for maths. RD Sharma is also gud. About Physics, start with HC Verma and after solving it proceed to Arihant's physics. For Chemistry, Organic-Arihant(for Questions)& Solomons are gud. Inorganic-J D Lee and Arihant's. Physical-R C Mukherjee &P Bahadur(if u hav enough time).
Rate me if u like my suggestions.
