Hi all, I am planning to drop a year, I might get a 20-30k rank in aieee, not clearing the JEE expected cutoff, by 40 marks. Cleared manipal,but with a ~5000 rank. And no huge hopes from BITSAT as well. And I don't want to join JUST ANY engg. college but a good reputed one.
Any ex-student from any coaching classes from Delhi/Kota PLEASE give your reviews for the following.
No excuses, but I simply did not study enough. Maximum ~~1-2 hours a day. And 5-6 before the exam. And left like 40%-50% syllabus and I am to blame, but I have faith in myself and I can crack it with a good rank.
-Bansal (specially)
-FIITJEE
-B.T.
-Resonance
-VMC... and any other. If possible please tell me your experience and problems if any. Any guidance of any sort.

fiitjee is not good. they just boast abt their results, which is an outcome of their students' hardwork and not their's.
the teachers r not good and the material is also just okay. so avoid fiitjee if possible.
i hav heard that brilliant is good in chennai and cochin
and ofcourse bansal and resonance in kota r vry good options and u will b completely focused there( unless u r home-sick)

Can someone elaborate on their experience (bad or good)... about KOTA.... I am pretty confident that I can take the pressure...
But I have this little problem.. I am getting a good batch at FIITJEE(main center) with the best teachers, If i opt for bansal (If i get through) they wont tell me the batch, and I have no clue about the frequency of reshuffling for the droppers batch X,Y,Z so, I might get a lower batch and I'll have no options then, so can someone please advice me , about the reshuffle.
And I would also not like to be in Delhi , due to the numerous distractions.. As its my hometown !, but that is not such a major issue.
Please guide me... any droppers ? ex bansalites.. ? The experts too are requested!

I need the same guidance too. Heard there is a new centre of FIITJEE at Rohini in delhi and they are sharing faculty with the Punjabi Bagh centre. any guidance.And i too am dropping if i fulfill some conditions that will make it clear to me if i will not commit the same mistakes as last two years this time again.

amazing questions and thinking skill questions...
atleast i am amazed by their questions..
brilliants is also good...
resonance and bansals in kota are too over straining...i mean everyday classes and for a long time...i mean except studies u wont b able to think of anything else in kota...

After almost wasting two years I really don't mind thinking of anything except study!
A_JOSHI are you from KOTA?
Any 13th/ dropee from resonance /Bansal??
I really need advice and soon, cause the admission dates/deadlines are passing by!!

Join VMC,I admit that you will have to do a lot of hardwork on your own,but I'll still say that it is the best.You will definitely clear IITJEE if you follow bhaiyyas(Our Teachers) instructions blindly.VMC develops "fearlessness" about exams,which I think is most important.

in vmc .....they get the most intelligent ,studious ppl
and get dependant on students a lot.....and plus...in other institutes u dont have feel awkward if ur not getting thngs....
at vmc u have to be or pretend to be the best..no matter if u evn flunk out doing a easy questions...they have lot of unrealistic expectations frm u
fiitjee....or evn narayana is gud

who said fiitjeeis not good i am in fiitjee bangalore and i am goin to take iitjee2009 here the teachers are amazing they make everything so easy classroom package is really awesome they are so motivating and give utmost importance even to last ranker.
