problem-
my prep for jee has just started ..........i jus did 2 chapters from hc verma 1 which i found da obj questions a bit tough,,,,,,,,,,,,chem and maths has not started......
u all guys probably think i am crazy.........
i wana know wheter i shud buy da below mentioned buks

physcial chem-rc muk or p bhadur( i heard der r 2 many numericals in p bhadur which isnt a gud think and in rc muk all da questions r difrent and i heard dats y da rcm is betr)

organic chem-
mtg interactive organic chem

inorg-
iit chemistry by op and avinash agawal.......

i am in da state board and i know only da state bord stuff in chem........can i refer da rcmukherjee buk after doin phychem for dinesh objective chem and will those 2 buks together be a beter option dan da p bhadur or shud i refer da dinesh buk and den da p bhdur buk?

OR

shud i get my self a 2nd hand briliiant s latest material of 2yr elite course and do chem from dat material and dont even c da above mentioned buks?

pls reply to alll da parts in da quetions.......infinite rates gaurentied!

don't knw wat everyone else has to say but i wud suggest u to go for books........

physical = p.bahadur.......does'nt matter if it has too many numericals.....doin too many numericals won't harm u.........

organic= mtg interactive organic chem

inorganic=op agarwal + ncert

u r in state board so u won't be having ncert i suppose........i suggest u to buy it.........

THERE IS NOT MUCH TIME FOR JEE . SO I WILL SUGGEST YOU FOR STUSYING THE BASIC CONCEPT BOOKS I.E. THE NCERT BOOKS PLZ STUDY ALL THE TOPICS IN NCERT AS WORKING IN IITD I KNOW THAT THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF NCERT ARE MOST USE FUL AND AFTER STUDYING NCERT U SHOULD DO THE PREVIOUS JEE PAPERS AND THE PREVIOUS ROORKEE PAPERS U MUST SOLVE THESE U GET A GOOD RAK INJEE.

Firstly, you are messed up with so many books that you have become a confused character.
So, 1 thng is clear that you shouldnt be buying too many books since you would be confused about the matter in each.
In physical chemistry, I dont c any harm if you solve too many numericals unless they are senseless time wasters.
Next, Dont create a fuss about all the books. Buy any 1 of them (I's recommend RCM) and go through it. If you ever feel that this is not sufficient , you can solve problems from P Bahadur.
For, Organic, I use IIT CHEMISTRY and Morrisson & Boyd. I find M & B quite good for extra knowledge.
For, Inorganic I use IIT Chem and J D Lee for the same reason.
There is no harm in knowing more than required.
About Dinesh.. my friends say its good and MTG too is good.
Now, about your State Board thing.... It doesnt matter to which board you belong ..state boards do not lessen a person's IQ .. you shuld be able to rack your brains ... and here you will learn only... if not refer to various books ... i dont think wasting time reading NCERT books will b good .... if you find a doubt read it and understand it from NCERT ..... dont sit to read the whole thing frm the beginning.
About Brilliant S M i dont know much... but i think it will b better to look at the books directly... Books wont do anythng unless you open them and try to understand the matter.

for chemistry u cn reffer arihant organic,inorganic n physical chemistry
these r very gud books to clear ur basic concepts in chemistry n after dat u can reffer M&B to solve higher standard problems in organic chemistry
Arihant books are very gud in IIT perspective......

zeeshan... first of all u dont need to buy b.t. 's 2 yr elite course... dont worry.. the reason being that i will upload all the study material with me..

but i will b doing that after my aieee gets over.. and i am not joking .. i am damn serious.......................

then for ncert also u dont need to buy it.. it is available online freely...

now for the books...... then for organic ... mtg is a good buy fro u...

then for phy. chem.. whats the harm in bringing both the books ??/ is there any problem ... ??

then for inorganic... dev sir has told that krishna is the best book he has ever come across... .. so u can rely upon dev sir...
u may find the hcv numericals tough in the initial .. but once u will get accstomed to ... u will find them entertaining ...
