experts and goiitians pls reply,which buk is best for maths?

experts and goiitians pls reply,which buk is best for maths? arihant series/ml.khanna/tmh/a.dasgupta,which are the buks i cant afford to miss?pls reply,i am a jee 2010 aspirant and i am very confused.

use ARIHANT and A Dasgupta because ML khanna is outdated now.....

Well , in my opinion , theory for Maths should be done from material prepared by a repted coaching institute.Problem solving should be done from books like ML Khanna(by far the largest collection of ans) or A DasGupta(smaller but qns have quality.)Another good book for problem solving is Puroshuttam Kumar (PK) Sharma , which has qns on every topic arranged in Level 1, 2, 3 with detailed solutions(my personal fav).

Personally I am against general Maths textbooks like Hall and Knight , SL loney , as they are not meant specifically for Competitive exams and theory is simply too vast.

tmh is very good,however concentrate on the stuff given by ur coaching too,it will help a lot....

To start with the basics, go for IIT-JEE MATHS by RD Sharma and then proceed with ML Khanna and A Dasgupta.

Arihant and dasgupta are good....If u r not able to solve and felling difficult and then u should go and solve ml khanna

Don't just jump 2 difficult.First do some good basic probs frm RD and then u can use arihant or dasgupta.
