Just luk at the Paper-2 of AITS-5 Chemistry- In the ques of complex compounds- which of them will be resolved. The ans given is B,D. Which is wrong. D is not optically active and hence cant be resolved and A is optically active but it is not given in the ans. In another ques-Select correct statements from the following statements- In the answer they hav given that the statement Ammonium ion given blue colouration with Nesslers reagent as correct. How can this be correct. Everyone knows that ammonium ion gives Brown colour with nesslers reagent. These 2 ques were of 5 marks each. Means instead of getting +10, a student gets -2. That is, a loss of 12 marks. which can result a major fall in percentile. and also can demoralise a student.

ya dude, i am aware of these errors, though i havent seen the soln.
also, the website isnt showing my marks for the past 2 full tests, this just shows their callousness. Other students should take note - do not depend on fiitjee 4 ur preparations.

I wasted Rs 5500 on it.
They seriously got wasted.
with this money I wud hav filled 10 more forms.

most of the answers r wrong !
its actualy not worth giving da aits.
moreover the aits level is higher than da iit level.
waise why did u join??

i dont agree with u at all.....n i mind it.....
how can u say that it causes great fall in percentiles??????? bahh??
if ur answer is wrong , then mine too
it doesnt mean k m getting -12 n u r getting +12.....or sth like that...
everyone gets grace marx fr this.,... haa.......and it happens mate......
even IIT's gives wrong qs.....last year also it happened
u just cant neglect the quality of their papers....okay???????
u just go to FIITJEE centre.........tell them the mistake.....n they might take any step
wats the use of writing it here.....
i dun knw about rankers study material n all....
but ffor me AITS is very important n good mode fr preparing for ur competitive exams....
no offence....
but u cant abuse so highly reputed insti like this...

Well himanshu bhaiyya,
I dont agree with U.
Undoubtedly Bansal is one of the best coachings in India. And all my frnds there told me that Bansal's faculty is against FIITJEE's AITS. They all advice at bansal to join BMAT.
And about that percentile fall. When 4-5000 students are giving the exam, there is a lot of probability that many of them mark the answers which acc to those silly FIITJEE solutions are correct. Those students are actually fools but they end up getting 12 marks more than those who deserve it.
If U hav given the Test-5 this time, just go thru the ques, I pointed above. The ques are so simple that even a CBSE teacher can get them right and these FIITJEE people claim themselves to get U a seat in IIT and they give wrong ans to such ques.

no tarinbansal you are not right. a racemic mixture of enaniomers is an optically inactive compound, but it is RESOLVABLE.

I partly agree with Himanshu and partly with Tarin. See firstly Tarin is correct in saying that there are a lot of mistakes in the solutions and answers of AITS but at the same time you cannot say that it is a waste as it is certainly not simply because thousands of students benefit from it. Himanshu's opinion regarding the IIT also gives wrong answers can't be agreed by me as the no of wrong answers is much much less as compared to the FIITJEE's AITS solutions.

are yaar, Only a racemic mixture can be resolved. Resolving means separating two optically active compounds from their mixture which is inactive. So, an inactive racemic mixture can be resolved into its constituent optically active compounds.

And in that ques, A shud be the answer and D shud NOT be the ans.

Although I do feel that the test series somewhat helps in judging our own performance in comparison to others,but I fully agree with Tarin in the point that it is a waste as we all knw that real JEE won't be like this.......I think when they say that they r providing mock JEE tests then they should set papers very close to it,i.e.,well balanced,stressing on testing the concept rather than tedious problems.........
