of course fiitjee is the best u don,t need to go very high to college level.stick ti 12th standard only.I got an article once on this forum only dat suggested to study in three phases if u have enough time 4 prep. and assured to get to top ten in jee.he was an iitian wid a good rank of 114 I,m telling u dat for the first phase books are: phy:-h.c verma 1 n 2 volumes. don,t touch resnic halliday.many things given are beyond the course of jee n u will be confused. chem:-o.p agrawal 1n2 vol. n r.c mukherjee physical chem. maths:-k.c sinha(study algebra calculus n probability) S.L Loney(trigonometry n co-ordinate) strenthen ur concept in this phase through these books in this phase n solve them completely NOW< COMES THE SECOND PHASE phy:-IRODOV,solution of abhay kumar singh chem:-ARIHANT(spe. physical inorganic + organic) maths:-T.M.H now u have got enough concept for jee HERE COMES THE THIRD AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PHASE if u are not able to solve the ques. of above books don,t worry it's solutions are available inthe market.just get it or goiit is always there. n revise it 2-3 times. IN THIS PHASe get 1) 3 fiitjee GMP's(grand master package) 2) Apex materials n test series 3)fiitjee test series 4)ranker test paper files 5)IIT mathematica n IIT chem. 6)examples given at the end of I.L FINAR n notes n last year ques.4m frnds NOW U R READY TO FACE THE CHALLENGE N GET THROUGH TOP 10 RANKS. I'm now going to list the books which are enough 2 clear JEE !!!!
Pleazzz don't run behind hundreds of books.....
The books I'm gonna tell u now have concepts explained in a very simple manner......
U also wont need to join any coaching classes ..... :)
According 2 me therz no need of FITJEE or Brilliants Notes if u use these books ......
Pleazzz don't forget 2 join mock test of FITJEE ....
Physics: (1). H.C.Verma I & II (For concepts & problems) (2) Solutions of H.C.Verma (But, Pleazzz don't rely over them) (3). I.E.Irodov (For solving difficult sums)
Chemistry: (1). O.P.Agarwal (For concepts and problems) (2). R.C. Mukherjee (For physical chemisrty)
Mathematics: (1). M.L. Khanna (For concepts and sums) (2). S.L. Loney (Trigonometry and Co-ordinate Geometry) (3). TMH (Tata Mc-Graw Hill )
Hope u'll like my suggestion .... Pleazzz rate me if u like my suggestions..........

- I think these books will be usefull for preparing IIT-JEE
MATHEMATICS - TAT MC-GRAW
- DAS GUPTA
- NCERT TEXT BOOK
- ML Khanna
- RS Aggarwal
Physics - H.C VERMA
- Resnik & Halliday(for some topics)
- Pradeep?s Physics
Chemistry - ARIHANT
- O.P AGARWAL
- Pradeep?s Chemistry ( for physical(theory) and organic)
- IIT Chemistry(numericals and Inorganic part)
Be carefull to use these books in a planned way otherwise a huge no. of books may lead to total loss of knowledge and concentration.

for physics D.C.Pandey is good book for numericals & H.C.Vermais good for theory portion
NCERT xi & xii is enough for organic & inorganic according to latest pattern & for physical chemistry P.Bhadur is good
for maths in all S.K.Goyal of arihant publication is good & for higher maths A.DAS Guta is best book.
Iwould advice u to get Brillant Notes as now a days good concept are required to solve the problem

For Mathematics, solve R.D.Sharma first and then you can go for Asit Dasgupta or Arihant's series.Hall and Knight for Algebra,S.L.Loney for Trigonometry. For Organic Chemistry, read O.P.Agarwall and Solomons and then solve all the questions from arihant. For Physical,Do R.C.Mukerjee and Arihants and also P.Bahadur(if u hav got enough time and patience). For Inorganic, follow O.P.Agarwaal ,Arihants and J.D.Lee
