It depends upon how u grasp things. as if u learn them fast u can make concepts by H C Verma too halliday , finar require enough time to study & as far as numericals r considered halliday is not so good. for jee physics HCV is best. if u need more get DCPandey , finar,boyd, is gone now as u see current pattern.as i personally feel NCERT books shud be firt one to study then go 4 other books detais less covered in NCERT but 4 math prepare 4 some hi level not lengthy but tricky rate me if it helps
