Hi everybody,please tell me what study material is good for NTSE and IX X class student.I heard materials of Brilliant Tutorials, Resonance, Fiitjee are available.please tell me which one to selectregards

Hi,

I am in 8th standard and following the cbse syllabus. I would like to appear for the ntse exam. I am based in bangalore and I wanted to take coaching from base institute but my school timings is quite long and wont be able to enroll for that.

Could you guide me on how I should prepare for the test and what books I should buy and how do get hold of the previous papers?

Hi. I am an NTSE scholar. You wont be able to get hold of previous papers because they take them away . For MAT section (logical reasoning) try R.S Aggrawal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning .For SAT (Math, Sc. And Social Sc.) try TMH or Arihant .... u dont really need much coaching. The first round is conducted by ur state. So you should ask a senior more about the pattern of questions. For the national level (if u are selected in state level) then you will just need the NCERT texts for SAT section. MAT section is universally same (follow RS Aggrawal)
