While browsing through Goiit I came across certain issues which I feel must be looked into. I am fairly new here so if these issues have already been addressed, please point me to the relevant link. 1) Lack of disclaimers - This website purports to aid students in preparing for various entrance exams. In that direction several concepts, expected questions and answers are posted herein. However I see no mention of who (if anyone) may be held liable for the consequences (direct or indirect) arising out of the use of this website. For (a very simple) eg., if "user A" (who is not an "expert") makes a claim here that "dot product of two vectors is XY sin ", and if "B" loses out on his career as a result of applying this erroneous formula, who would be held legally liable? Does the apparent lack of an explicit disclaimer imply that Goiit takes full responsibility for aforementioned consequences of using this website? What if an "expert" makes a similar error? Who is responsible - him/her or the people who selected him/her as an "expert"?
2) Third party websites - Goiit advertises several third-party websites. Does it endorse (and/or) take responsibility for the content of these websites (coaching classes) or to the claims made therein?
3) Objectionable content - Our friend "A" claims "FGH Univ." is "terrible and has only 30 placements". Does Goiit endorse this view? What if "B" gives me (unqualified) advice to reduce sleep by drinking 40 cups of coffee a day. I end up in a coma and am unable to write AIEEE. If "C" (who is not a psychologist) attempts to counsel user "D" who is suicidal and thereby worsens "D's" condition, can D's parents sue C (or Goiit) for not calling the police as they are supposed to? Does Goiit monitor its users to stop them from giving advice they are not qualified to give?
4) User privacy - Does Goiit monitor its users IP addresses or other information (such as e-mail IDs),and to what extent? Do you provide such information to third parties? Would this data is provided to law enforcers as part of a criminal investigation (say a paper "leak") ? Goiit's policies regarding users' peronally identifiable information and the extent of its cooperation with Indian agencies should be clarified, since some users are from foreign countries and subject to different cyber laws.
Please clarify Goiits standing on these matters, keeping in mind the fact that you are dealing with a very important phase of these student's life - a phase which decides their professional futures.

Just one line in the EULA would do (like in south park) :
GOIIT is not responsible for the site's content and it should not be viewed by anyone

Goiit doesn't require its users to agree to a EULA at the time of registration. Even if such a license were in place it cannot be agreed to by users under the age of 13 (18 in some jurisdictions). Without age verification any legal agreement would be considered invalid. But the more important part of my query, that of Goiit's consequential liability and its compliance with user privacy laws remain unanswered.

hmmm.
We must understand that this forum is a great service for students.
If they recommend some other links, which help them to run this forum, it should be acceptable to all.
Naturally, they cant take responsibility for the content generated on their site by users.
