HEY FRIENDS ,IAM IN QUITE A CONFUSED STATE. I HAVE M.L KHANNA(THE SUBJECTIVE ONE NOT THE NEW PATTERN ONE) I DID SOME QUES FROM IT SOME TIME BACK(ABT 4-5 MONTHS BACK) AT THAT TIME I FOUND IT GOOD. NOW ONE OF MY FRIENDS SAYS THAT ITS DOESNT HAV MANY GOOD QUES(IT HAS EASY QUES) AND SO ITS NOT VERY GUD FOR IIT PREP. ALSO U MUST HAV READ THE ARTICLE IN COMMUNITY SHELF SAYIN THAT M.L.KHANNA AND R.D SHARMA HAVE A LOT OF SHIT IN THEM NOW IM CONFUSED WHETHER TO CONTINUE WITH M.L.KHANNA OR BUY A.DASGUPTA(MCQ)(OR ARIHANT) RATHER THAN WASTE TIME ON M.LKHANNA. SHOULD I BUY A NEW BOOK?????? PLZ POST UR VIEWS QUICKLY AND HELP ME TO MAKE A DECISION QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!

try thadiyan's book of fundamental physics..... its superb man.... u'll surely get admission to IIT......

I'd suggest you to go far A. Das Gupta both Subjective one for IIT and the Objective one..!!

ITS GOOD................FOR CALCULUS.........ARIHANT........AMIT.M. AGGARWAL
ALSO HALL AND KNIGHT FOR ALGEBRA............MNLY FLLW TMH....U'LL GET....

okay ive heard abt TMH too.so is it gud enough.does it hav obj ques too???? is it too hard or managable???

TMH is not so good for IIT-JEE but A.Dasgupta's Problem + is good 1.lots of subj. Questions useful for IIT

Mathematics:
TMH is good for solved examples, though this book doesnt have enough exercises, but then if ya cover the solution, a solved example is but a problem. each chapter has about 100 solved examples. and plz plz buy the latest edition. this might be around 450 bucks
do get DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS AND INTEGRAL CALCULUS by Amit Agarwal by ARIHANTH, each RS 200. these are gr8 books the level of problems is good and so is the collection. you wont find much of these problems in other books
also for theory on calculus do get Thomas and Finney by Pearson Education ABOUT Rs 500, though bargaining will modify that.
This is a gr8 book and should be renamed ?? calculus for dummies??. it has lot of good examples, exercises, in depth theory, formulas, diagrams etc. and dont forget the CD.
then there?s the usual SL Loney,
also must must must is ?? play with graphs?? by amit agarwal.... arihanth publications.
its superb. help you transform graphs and shit. very useful for mains and screening.

if ya have cash left as well as the time, then get 3000 SOLVED PROBLEMS IN MATHS BY SCHAUM SERIES, by TMH.
