hi boss, ..............i think ur a little bit late, (jb ramayan khatam ho gaye ,to puchha sita koon the).,,,nd 1 more thing u didn't mention a book, which iz just master piece,................................our n.c.e.r.t. book,. all books ,which u mntioned here r ,in my opinion, not 4 jee aspirants,....dese r 4 our professor's, nd teachers

hmme organic chemistry mein ph.d, or M.A. thore he karna hai, only dat much knowledge iz sufficient 4 us ,by which we compete jee...............................................so , just follow n.c.e.r.t. 4 theory nd o.p tondon/o.p. agrawal 4 practise...................................waise v ab itna time nahi ke kese foreign writters k book lekar, uspar reasearch kro.

xams k samay to books ko jitna limited kr sako krna chaheye,pothe- potha dur kro short notes ajmawo.

aur sorry..................der aaye , durust aaye...............film avi khatm nahi hua..

aur itne sare books lekhkr es chhote bacche ke jaan loge kya????????/

nd u wrote at u will rate , if any 1, clear ur conffusion................................so , if i my word hurt u,den don't giv me salutes(cap),.........................but plzzz plzzz plzz  , am begging don't giv me boinks.

ya Rana is right u did nt mention about Ncert Books these r best for ur jee preparation !!! next if u want cent precent marks better would be tht u join any correspondence course in chemistry because no books in market is made for IIT-Jee preparation. In the above given books Morrison and Solomons r the best bt in these books u have extra things which r nt in jee syallabus !!! so if u wanna prepare organic take a topic and read it through frm solomons !!! and thn prepare frm ur correspondence course or MTG organic chemstry !!!
bt u need a correspondence course in chemtry to be 100% !!

mr.ranas reply is too gud,but he has replied thinking that you are going to appear for jee in 2009,well,all the buks mentioned by you are gr8,but the most preferred buk for organic chem by jee aspirants is morrison boyd,i agree it has some chapters out of syllabus,so you can refer arihant organic chem so that you study only those chapters which are in jee syllabus, arihant will also give you gud sums for practice,so the package for organic chem shud include morison boyd and arihant, best of luck, rate me if useful.

It is true that u are too late to ask this important question, but it matters a lot which book to choose.

In my opinion, NCERT must be of the foremost priority and the second book which I prefer from your list is the Schaums Outline.

I have studied Schaums Outline, not completely but I suggest this book because it is supported with good conceptual questions just after every topic which is a must for the practice andfinally to succeed. I think it is the best book.

MTG's organic chemistry

Puala Yurkanis Bruice(as told in bansal classes kota)

IL Finar is good

and even you can go for morrison and boyd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANYONE OF THE FOLLOWING WILL DO GOOD!!!!!!!!! DEPENDS ON YOU WHICH YOU WANT TO BUY!!!!! BE VERY SELECTIVE! TAKE YOUR TIME AT THE BOOKSELLER AND READ THEM AT LEAST 5-10 MINUTES FOR A BOOK AND THEN BUY THE ONE WHICH ACCORDING TO YOU IS GIVEN IN THE BEST LANGUAGE I MEAN IN SIMPLE ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR CONCEPTS CLEAR WITH THE THEORY ONLY THEN I WOULD PREFER THE MOST------ PAULA YURKANIS BRUICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
