While everyone keeps talking of coahing institutes, has anyone wondered whether it is conducive to the schedule.

As a rule, for every hour of study in the tuition/coaching center, one has to spend at least 3 hours in study at home.

So, ideally, if a coaching is spending 9 hours in a week, the time required at home (including homework from school) is 27 hours.

In any case, time spent above 12 hours is harmful for students.

Kota has a different model. They do not let the students go to school. Thats why some schools got derecognized some time back. The new pattern was also created with the objective of attacking the kota system

In any case, Kota system can not work anywhere else.

So, students need to see, whether the plan of a coaching fits into thir plan.

Most of us goiitians spend 6 hrs a day for self study, even when we have skool and coaching classes. Also, we use goiit to clear our doubts and solve our problems, unlike people like U who make multiple IDs and try to advertise and waiste peoples time here. Just because you find students prospering on goiit, you people try to disrupt the site for your own personal benefits. Sorry to say, but people like you are not wanted on a serious site like goiit. If you want 2 advertise, do it on orkut or facebook or some other site.
