advice needed !!! please help ...
None

i had appeared for JEE-2008 and did not get selected. i have taken up admission in bangalore's  dayananda sagar college of engineering in the CS dept. but i want to give one more shot for JEE-2009.

which are the min. no of books i have to master to get through JEE-09??

i have Brilliant's 1 year course material for jee 2008.  Is studying only this enough for JEE-2009 leaving out its physics portion for which i will be using only H.C.Verma.  if not, what should i study ?? do i need to subscribe to some other course material to study??

please keep in mind i also have to attend classes regularly as the min attendance requirement is 85% and my preparation specifically for JEE is next to zero. so i will not be gettin time to go through too much study material.

please help.

thanks.

in engineering first year you study engineering mechanics , the syllabus is similar to iitjee physics mechanics, so you kill two birds with a single stone. to some extent maths also helps, but chemistry is totally different , i am telling you this from my experince.

hey i m also attempting second time in jee2009 and probably i will also take admission in a college meanwhile....bt attendance hardly matters...if u want to crack jee then u have to give dedicated time for it and most probably i will stop going college completely after december or january...i will give any medical etc.. .

and for books as time is less so i will recommend u
physics - d.c pandey and h.c. verma....do not go for irodov u will waste ur time
chemistry - p.bahadur(physical), arihant(organic) , ncert and o.p aggarwal (inorganic) [first complete physical chemistry]
for maths i cant tell anything as i m also in confusion that which book is best and saves time bt i think arihant and tmh iit mathematics will be gud for it bt i m nt sure
