Coaching Institutes & Course Material
well , i have given my 10th class cbse boards n waiting 4 the results........93 + is what i expect.....................................
anyways......we are having a 2 months-long vacation........n studies at school have not begun....
m aiming at IIT-JEE 2010
unlike my friends n classmates , i have not taken up any coaching from narayana or fitjee or ony other instii
i want 2 make it on my own.........
could you people tell me how should i plan my preps........???????????
any1 out there?????
Take up the NCERT books and finish them ... then move on to better books like HC verma, Arihant etc.
Another thing ... if you haven't taken coaching for any other reason than financial constraints .... well, its risky. If there are financial constraints ... then work hard and don't stop till its over
All the best
oh ......no no....no financial constraints........actually the institutes r at punjabi bagh n kalu sarai area........n dese places r far off........n my parents, being doctors do not have time 2 drop or pick me up.......thats why.......
let not being able to arrange travelling affect you from attending an institute if you feel its good! If you feel that the place is good, you must not bother about such things and directly enroll yourself. Because it gives you many advantages like someone to guide you, peer pressure which makes you study regularly and also there are constant tests which help you assess youself and many more! If monetary expenses arent a burden, you must definitely find some travel accomodation immediately if you dont mind going to a coaching institute!
teachers at school advised that extra coaching would be a burden...actually....m a topper .....but then..physically not very strong.......school gets over by 2 pm.....n classes at these insti. start from 3 .....n get over by 9....uske baad homework karo......school ka aur coaching ka dono.....man it sucks ,bigtime.....jab khud padhna hi hai to i m looking 4ward 2 take some correspondence course........
Heyy I can understand ur diificulties.....
I have gone through the same ones
U better take up the correspondence courses and work hard
Take a correspondence course from something like BT. A dude frm my state got 25th AIR doing only BT correspondence, without any coaching class.
I also started from april 6th last year. This article was my guide :
IITJEE is too easy
H.C.Verma I & II (Repeat it.At least twice or thrice.Just once would not work.)
***PROHIBITION------- DON'T EVEN TOUCH COMPREHENSIVE CHEMISTRY OR
I am emphasizing on problem solving.
thank u ma'am
see you have to sacrifice some things in life! Even if its a bit strenous at first, you will be able to cope up with it!
I think most institutes offer a weekend course for 8 hours or something like that! If you want you can join that as well. I mean, if you study on your own, you must find the drive within yourself to do it and it can easily lead to distractions! I have personally seen my friend going haywire after doing really well till class X so its not all that easy to do things on your own! If you get disinterested at one point, then there might be no coming back or something like that which will affect your performance!
After this, i leave it to you.
we have so much in common. i'm a topper too, expecting 93%+ (hopefully) both my parents r docs n i have d same problem. not very tough physically either, so five hours of coaching is like ...
just 2 let u know u're not alone lol
u can take weekend classes at insti.
m also preparing fr JEE-2010 n i hv to spent 3hrs in travelling for a 2hr class...so total 5hrs...nd this is 6days a week.
get on!!!....if u r aspiring for JEE thn u will hv to work hard....b prepared fr tht.
