whether or not to get da brilliant tutorial material?

None

abt me......
jus wasted a year ....got screwed in da 11th ...by getin 72% state board,,,,,,,

got scores of .7 and 9 %ile in da fiitjee aits of 1st year..........

i have started my preps and got da below mentioned buks.......
phy-hc verma1&2
maths- ml khana & sl loney(cod geo and trigo)
chem-
physical- rc mukherjee
org- mtg interactive organic chem
inorg-op agarwal

and i also haev da fiitjee material which i think is a waste and dont even refer it....becuz i find it too complicated.........der is no caohing here for jee.......only aieee coaching given by TIME which i heard i average and am planin to join it in june.....

now da problem is dat i am in a dilemma!!

sum1 recently was willin to sell deir brillliant tutorials material to me for around 3-2.5k rs....shud i buyit from him considering da below facts....
1. i hav a lot of buks and wasted a lot of cash on da fiitjee material
2.will i be able to amnage da caochin of aieee and da bt material along wid da 12th stuff of state board?
3.wont all these buks together confuse me.........i mean i wud get confused so as to from wher shud i start da chapter?

pls sugest me what shud i do.......

about point 3)
i too experienced the same problem but i now decided to start from bt modules

i have no clue
brilliant modules are gr8 but dont know whether u have to buy or not
i feel the LOCUS material u have downloaded for physics and maths is good enuf
and as for chemistry u have many books good in theory
so i think u better dont buy it

student friendly

bmat-best test series available

yg file-1500 quest.4 practice

500 each from pcm

doubt clearing session twice in an year

can send ur doubts 2 them

yg files r excellent

dear friend,
the books you hv bought are just great enough for IITJEE.
You can follow LOCUS and give BMAT of BRILLIANT.

AND YES do the FIITJEE stuff after all this : )

i am gona get a 2nd hand bt materila......i am not gona buy a new one,,,,,,so undderstand da circumstances!
is it worth 3k?

if its more than 3-4 yrs old, then dont pay more than 1000.........and also i have BT material of 2002..my bros........its not too good...

well now u can take brilliant r any other boks equlivaent but i hoping once if u would have studied every then fiitjee would be useful for u i am sure bt study every thing before 3 months of the examination

If u are living in Delhi or u know someone in Delhi then I can tell u the place where u can get the latest BT material for approx. Rs 1500-Rs2000.

But one thing u should always keep in mind it does not matter which study material u hav, all that matters is what u hav gained from that material.

Try to concentrate on the concepts & then go to the questions, don't get disheartened & don't loose hope if u r not able to solve them instead go to the concepts again & then try to find the solution. If u r not able to solve a question that day then try solving it after 2-3 days. With a fresh mind u will be able to interpret it in a better way.

U hav many books study the concepts first from there,then move on to ur study materials & then try to solve the questions of these study materials/packages.

ALSO do buy a 30 years question bank for IIT like mtg or arihant one's etc. It is easily available on any good bookshop. Buy it after 2-3 months so that it includes this years question paper with solution.

whatever you do man,don't take bt material from chennai institute...
           it sucks..........
            i have got 2004 elite course,(my bros)...
           i always wondered why my brother never studied from it,it's stupid beyond description through words.........
        when u buy some thing u look for presentations........
    delhi bt material is far better..........
       even if it isa of 04 or 05..........then go for it.
   as for yg file it's better......
          but it is said to be a bit outdated........ so everybody would suggest...... fiitjeee......
for maths final revision buy asit das gupta. bharti bhavan.....

bt material is in comparatively simpler language than fiitjee

u can go for bt material

u can understand it

first thing u shud clear ur concepts well

dont get confused seeing such a huge stack of books

use the books for reference when needed

i.e. mark imp points n understand them

dont just simply read everything frm buks

when u master all d concepts then use fiitjee for selective problems

just one thing to say ya ..........

TOO MANY BUKS DON CONFUSE U .... U HAV ALMOST THE SAME CONCEPT PUT ACCROSS IN DIFFERENT WAYS IN EACH ONE OF THEM SO MAY BE ONE OF THEM SUITES U .

TH ADVANTAGE U HAVE IS U CAN SEE FOR ALTERNATE AND SHORTER PROBLEM SOLVING PROCEDURES WHEN U LOOK AT MANY OF THEM .

INSTEAS OF BUYING LEFT N RIGHT SEE IF U HAVE AN E BUK USE LIBRARIES , ASK UR COLLEGE 2 BUY THEM , GET MATERIAL 4M THE NET , PREFER 2ND HAND BUKS FOR ALL STANDARD BUKS LIKE BOYD , JD LEE , HCV .. ARIHANT , TMH BUY 1ST HAND .
