Degree is the highest power of the highest order term when ALL the derivative terms are FREE FROM FRACTIONS AND FRACTIONAL POWERS...

so we should change the DE to dy/dx=0

so degree is 1

sorry i gave the wrong answer , i am yet to revise differential equation
