Dear Joy, are u askin to prove that the integral is equal to (x+2cosx) ???

Lets check backwards, the differential of  RHS is ( 1-2sinx)

So, we should have,

(cosx - cos2x)/(1+sinx) = (1 - 2sinx)

or (cosx - 2sin2x +1) = (1+sinx-2sinx-2sin2x)

Which means sinx = -cos x???

So, if i m getting the question correct, you have typed something wrong... please recheck it.
