u know that the graph is not differential at one point so generally we split the integral where its less than zero it is used as -x and the one more than zero its is x only definite integrals are possible here
|x| can be calculated for the given limits the respective graph is of y=|x| so for x<0 the mod will open with negation and it will be --x^2/2 and for x>0 mod will open with +ve sign so it will be x^2/2
