This one is quite simple. Use the method of substitution. Take t = 3x + 5 ; dt = 3 dx
[ ] [ ] (3x + 5) 17 dx = [ ] [ ] t 17 /3 dt = t 18 / 54 + C = (3x + 5)18 / 54 + C
