Q) [0 ][pie ] x/a^2cos^2x+b^2sin^2x dx
 
Q)  1/cos(x-a)cos(x-b) dx
 
just tell me how to go about ,plz dont give the soln.but give the final ans so that i can check it up.

q2:-

write numerator as sin (x-a - (x-b)) & to compensate above write sin(b-a) in denominator..

now just open sin formulae taking x-a as 1 & x-b as 2nd angle...

u will see from two terms ,u will get, 1 term got cancelled..& then just apply standard results...u will get it...

In question 1, take out cos^2x common from denominator and write it as sec^2x, then put t = tanx and then proceed as in substitution.

the first problem can be solved easily....
apply property 4 to remove the x term from the numerator ......
the divide the numerator and  denominator by (cos2x)^2
and put tan2x=t........... you will get the answer easily
