its a long but general method,
 
cos2=2cos2-1
 
cos2=(cos2+1)/2
 
as cos2=sin2/2
 
[ 0][pi ] (cos2+1)/2=[(sin2/2)+]/2 from 0 to pi
.         .
=/2.

You have given the same question 2 times .

I thought your question was integration of Cos^2theta in limits 0 to

2pi. Check the answer in the other mail.
