A QUESTION TO MODERATORS...

None

Hyelo moderators... i juzz wanna know how is d scale calculated... ?a new member has "new kid" as his scale reading... den he gets "cool goIITian" n den later "hot goIITian"... what are further designations given after "hot goIITian"...? on what basis is this scale calculated... is it on d basis of no. of questions answered... or no. of times we login into our account... or based on d duration we stay here in dis site...???i juzz wanna have an awareness of dat... so dat when i discuss wid my frnds of dis website... i can tell dem about this scale in detail... Thanq in advance...

i dont think it depends on no. of posts... because... two of my frnds in goIIT are "blazing goIITians"... yet their no. of posts vary to a large extent... one has 3818 posts... while d other has just 625 posts....!!!

There is nothing after Blazing GoIItian !!! The scale is calculated on the basis of the points you got by the members of this portal , your participation factor also matters !!! there are many members in this site who do not have many points but then also they are blazing !!! so the calculations depends on many factors !!!

Democracy is very much intrinsic in all the forums , the hierarcy that you are mentioning is very much in place.Touching the pinnacle through rates will have its own priviledges which is in noway to be treated as the dead end or saturation. Keep answering ,

plzzz sir... i have never asked anything in dis site... not even a question... dis is my first question n i sincerely request u to let me know d process... it has no relation wid my career or my preparation... but i'm asking dis question out of curiosity... so plzzz... kindly answer me widout feeling it as a burden...

Yeah, rating order is

New kid on d block --> Cool GoiiTian --> Hot --> Scorching --> Blazing

and BLAZING's d final scale reading .....

Ur altitude i think depends on the amount of activity u generate on this website ..

just depends on the no of posts

i think no. of posts < 50 is new kid

50-100 cool

100-200 hot

200-300 scorching

300 + blazing....
