well the IPL is starting today and there's gonna be lots of entertainment in this League [or atleast they say it's gonna be].And i m waiting to see waht it's gonna bring to Cricket. It has lots of Money But will be be Good for Cricket as a GAME? I hope it's a success not for the board but as a SPECTATOR i hope they provide us with some good CRICKET to watch. So Today, BANGALORE ROYAL CHALLENGERS Vs KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS So this can be the official thread for all IPL matches.Cheer ur fav team , Boast about them or simply enjoy their wins and most Importantly ENJOY THE GAME

let this site be dedicated for the cause of IIT and not cricket .......you have orkut and all other forums for that ........this is useless to talk bout cricket here and if a pair wants to discuss it then let it be in the nudgebook and not homepage .......i am sorry to say GOIIT is deviated a lot from its original motive .......think twice before giving me a boink

Mr.ambareesh13 plz don't be such a spoil sport mate. This is the Lounge Section it's for this kind of NON-IIT kinda FUN things to be discussed so i don't think it's wrong to discuss sports in here. And btw the Opening ceremony of IPL just started and it's been great till now but it feels more like a CARNIVAL than a CRICKET MATCH.

i think iwill analyse different teams
Deccan Chargers-A dynamic and powerful batting line up but bowling lacks variety and quality.
Knight riders-they look a good and balanced side and has SRK to raise glamour quotient.
Banglore royal challengers-They have all the people who are good in test cricket,but a aging squad so will be poor in feilding.
Mohali kings 11-I think they r very strong and have a balanced squad.they are more balanced than knightriders.But with only 4 international players anybody can win
Rajasthan royals-Their name only has royalty,but they are having no chance of winning.They are the only team who didnt spend minimum amount required.
Mumbai indians-they are very similar to banglore royal challengers.they too have a aging squad.And they do not have a international wicket keeper.
Delhi daredevils-They are also a good side.They have the gods of line and length bowling in mcgrath and asif.They are the dark horse of the tounament.
Chennai super kings-with captain marvel dhoni leading they will be a tough team to beat.But i think they lack quality
