n i think u r referin to the sorting hat thing?? tho harry has the qualities of a slytherin (due to the passin on of some qualities from voldemort who was heir of slytherin) he was put in gryffindor..n y was he put in gryffindor??cuz he WANTED to be in gryffindor..tht is wat made all the difference in the wrld
