Dear Go-IIT-ians...Over the past I have found a lot of people misusing this website...

Recently I came across a few posts by a user called "rydbyrd" (www.goiit.com/user/profile/5252.htm) who I guess is tryin to advertise some coaching institutes like Quest Tutorials. And to most of his posts a guy called "WiseIITian" (www.goiit.com/user/profile/50141.htm) replies....

But I guess these two people are the same...Both the profiles show occupation as teachers and DOB as 12 Aug, 1973.

But please, we dont want people advertising here...!

Dear Admin Sir, I wish you would take some strict action against such people, and perhaps you could check the IP addresses of these 2 IDs too to confirm whether it's the same guy or not...

No offences meant...I'm ready to apologise if I am wrong...though I guess I am not...

Yeah it's misusing....Noone is supposed to make accounts so that they can advertise their institutes and all, and say ill about other institutes...The purpose of creating accounts is to give help or ask for help as regards with academics, stress management, or interacting with intelligent people...

But I think out of 50K users, if 2-3 of them are advertising abt their coaching institutes, it is not a major prob.

Its business buddy, they will do it on any site like GoIIT where they can find so many users.



Even if admin sir blocks them, they can come back with diff ids.



So, its better to avoid them.Let them do their work, let others do their. :P

Waise, if U still want, its not a bad idea to tell admin abt this.
