it depends on ur ability to study
if u r a quick learner then u will need min of 4 to 5 hrs only
and if u think u r not so gud at studies then god knows may be 24 hrs is not ok...............
but u know practise makes a man perfect so daily paractise makes u learn fast.....and ur learning ability will gradually increase.............

IIT is vast and you should give ur best if u want to crack it.There is no limit just keep on studying as much as u can and hope for the best.
