1) it is maximum at the equator

2) circular path

i think that its on the poles (90 deg) and i hope motion would be helical

1) It would be at the magnetic poles because at the place angle of dip/magnetic inclination is maximum i.e 90 degree.

 

2) It would be helical. 

It can't be circular because that path is possible only if  'theta' = 90 degree.
