Two parallel wires carry equal currents of 10A along the same direction and are seperated by a distance of 2cm.Find the magnetic field at a point which is 2cm away from each of these wires. Plzz answer friends.....3 salutes to a good ans......

r u getting of which point this question speaks about? both wires r 2cm frm each other any point which is 2 cm frm one shall be either 4 cm frm other or shall lie on the other

got it i think! B=u/2pi i/a B=u/2pi 10/(0.02) 2 wires will have two B's at an angle of 120 degrees so the resultant is root(B^2+B^2+2B^2cos120)

is the answer = (5.root(3) / 0.02) * u / pi Tesla ? just added cos components of fields. sin components cancel out. so 2 * cos component of any one's field.
