Abe is question mai kya hai? Do it by phasors.
Dekh parellel mai the voltage on all 3 of them is same. SO we make current phasors.
Inductor- +ve y axis
Capacitor- -ve y axis
resistor- +ve x axis
Now find the net current just as you find net force i.e.,
I = [(2-3)^2 + 5^2]^1/2
= sqrt 26

can you explain in detail using sine equations ????????
aur current ke liye phasors ka use??????????? woh bhi jab parallel mein ?????
dude,m getting in more confusion..............
maine to abhi tak sirf yahi padha hai ki phasors ka use sirf nett impedance ke liye karte hain......
and there is no question in HCV in which these 3 are in parallel in an A.C circuit...............
man! I m getting mad....
can anybody explain this concept in more details???????

Hey,
Sorry, i thought you needed pictorial representation(trust me it is boring to draw diagrams from the symbols given)he he......
if you need the explanation
since for inductor voltage leads current by pi/2
capacitor voltage lags by pi/2
resistor it is the same
hence the diagram
Ps: If you could say what you didnt understand......

Abe yaar to ''phasor'' naam sun ke dar gaya hai lagta hai. Phasor kuch nahi bas ek tareeka hai un quantities ko graphically represent karne ka jo alag alag phase mai hain. It is not necessary ki it is used to calculate impedance. It can be used everywhere.
See the basic idea is that behaviour of current & voltage in L,C,R remains same whether they R in series or parellel. Series parellel to bas current OR voltage distribution effect karte hain. They can't effect an inductor's or a capacitor's basic behaviour i.e., current lags in C, current leads in L.
Now in parellel, voltage on each L,C,R remains same so it is of no use.Here current varies. To humne iske phasors bana liye and we solved them like we simple add or subtract some forces along X and Y axes.
Jahan tak HCV ki baat hai usme AC bahut kam de rakha hai and questions are very easy and their are some mistakes also in the questions.
Samajh gaya kaise kiya yeh question?
BABY RAMDEV apni guru dakshina ka intezaar karega.
Hehehe

let current thru R, I=5sinwt
E=5Rsinwt
u can equate peak voltage, 5R=3/wC=2wL
apply loop law across C
q=CV
i=dq/dt=CdV/dt = 3coswt (on solving)
apply loop law across L
-Ldi/dt=E=5Rsinwt
i=-2coswt (on solving)
net current = 5sinwt+coswt = rt(26)sin(wt+@)
hence peak current= rt(26)mA

MOORAKH VYAKTI. BABY RAMDEV NE TERI MUSIBAT HAL KI AUR TU BAS USE EK DOODH KI BOTTLE DE RAHA HAI. DEKH LI TERI SHRADDHA. JAA TUJHE SHAAP DETA HOON KI YEH DOODH TUJHE HI PEENA PADE AUR USKE BAAD TUJHE BOTTLE BHI KHAANI PADEGI. CHHOOOOOO.
