A current i enters a circular at a point at leaves at the opposite diametrically end point.If a charge q moves through the axis of the circular wire,through its centre, what is the magentic force experinced by it? (HCV pg 229)[The ans. given is zero,but didnt understand]

See magnetic field by a current travelling in an arc with angle A....at a the center is equal to...
B = mu(I)(A) / 4pir where mu( is the constant)
if the current is enetering diametrically then equal amount will be distributed..and each will follow a semicircular path ...so A =pi///
Hence B for both the case will be B = mu(I) / 4r
Now but direction will be different for both case...
Current with anticlockwise direction will exert a upward force while the current with clockwise exert a downward force....on the charge..hence both will cancel each other....
