Are magnetic field lines and magnetic field strength the same thing?

if you talk of electricfield lines they denote both electric field strength and electric field potential.It is same for magnetic lines.

No.They're different.
Magnetic field strength implies the density of Magnetic field lines.

DIfferent.
Magnetic field lines are hypothetical lines which show the direction of magnetic field.
And density of magnetic field lines shows the magnetic field intensity at that point.

Magnetic field lines simply denote the presence of magnetic field . MF Strenth is estimated by density of mag Fld lines. crowded lines show strong mag fld nd vice-versa
