ASSERTION: Magnetic field strength at a point on the axial line of a bar magnet is along South to North pole.
REASON: The magnetic field strength can never be along North to South pole.

i think assertion and reason both r correct but its not the correct explanation for it...

According to my source, Reason is false. Is it correct?

assertion is correct for points on the axial line which lie inside the bar magnet.. REASON IS FALSE.... magnetic field strength is always from north to south pole outside any magnet..(reason .... direction of magnetic field line is defined as the direction in which an isolated north pole would experience force )
