18.
let the amperian loop have a radius of xcurrent through the amperian loop = I * x^2/r^2
B(2pi x) =mu * I * x^2/r^2
hence B is proportional to x
the last option will not be true because magnetic field is zero at infinity also

Hey !
the answer is (c)
this is bcoz the wire is thin walled.
so, for x<r, there is no current.
hence, B=0.
I hope u hav understood !
pls rate if useful !!!

c yaar !
if it was a solid conductor, then why would they write thin walled ???
thin walled means it is a hollow cylindrical wire.
so, for x<r, there is no wire !
hence no current and no B
I hope u hav understood now !
if no, then ask me !
