a magnetic needle is kept in a non uniform magnetic field.....then it experiences....

 

a force and a torque

force no torque

no force but torque

no force no torque.......

a force and a torque... becoz the magnetic field is uniform, both poles experience different forces..

the answer given was a force and no torque....i wrote both force and torque....plzz explain....thnx for the reply....
