First clear yourself with theory.See all solved examples or your text book(abc physics is good , because they characterize solved Qs into subtopics)solve them first.jump to HCV, or other stuffs as you wish.

The best way is to use Complex Impedances. We replace inductor by wlj and capacitor by its impedance that is 1/jwc. And then we change i and v to complexes and then apply KVL and KCl.then get a value in complexes and take its real value simple.Read its full theory in any standard physics or circuit theory book.
