Like I said, I'm just trying to answer svshah's question.
his question is "Hw can elecromagnaticwave carries energy in it?(magnaticfield & elecricfield are forces)"
Lemme try to answer it in a different way..... One of the main characteristics which defines an electromagnetic field (EMF) is its frequency or its corresponding wavelength. And as per The famous equation (E=hc/ lambda), there is an energy assoc with the wave. It is this energy which is propogated along the direction perpendicular to both the electrical and magnetic fields.
By the way islahul_101, who said tht photons don't exist?? A photon is simply put a quantum of energy which has zero rest mass and a spin of 1, zero electric charge and does not decay spontaneously in empty space(read http://physics.about.com/od/lightoptics/f/photon.htm for more).....and what do you mean by "till now"??You mean as in not yet discovered or as in not yet observed?? But then atoms themselves haven;t been observed (we've only seen how they interact when electrons or neutrons or other such particles...which we haven't **seen** either, are bombarded @ them). As for your objections, I'd suggest you read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photon#Early_objections
Heck, what U're saying is tht the BKS theory is still in play (I'm assuming here tht U know quantum physics pretty well) and in the larger frame what U're statement implies is that wave-particle duality doesn't exist coz the particles themselves do not exist. I sincerely hope tht U don't mean tht a "solid round sphere of energy with zero rest mass" is not your definition of a photon coz @ tht level (the ultra-atomic level), solid, liquid and gas make no sense!! Its all energy-energy relations.
A simple question (assuming you know your physics): How sould you explain the working of a rectenna without the quantum model??
I hope tht u don't take any of my statements personally...... and do nudge or reply
