if we take the resultant of the two tangents at a point then if they can cancel too in case of same
Engineering Entrance , Medical Entrance , AIPMT , JEE Main , CBSE Board , AIIMS , JEE Advanced , Physics , CBSE XII (Science) , Physics I , Physics II , Magnetism

if we take the resultant of the two tangents at a point then if they can cancel too in case of same magnitude and opposite direction?

Yes, since they are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction they will get cancelled.
