1.same current iis flowing in three infinitely long wires along positive x,y,z   directions. the magnetic field at a point (0,0,a) would be what??
 the ans is i(j^ -i^)/2a.

i dont understand how it is j^ -i^ .

2.an electreon is moving along positive x axis.a uniform electric field exists towards the negative y axis. what should be the direction of magnetic field of suitable magnitude so that the net force on the electron is zero??
ans: negative z axis.

how??

For your second ques.,

Simply Use the right hand thumb rule to determine the direction of magnetic force.........

Consider this

Use Right Hand Thumb Rule.

Hold your fist in "thumbs-up" position. The direction of the thumb is the direction of current. The curls of your finger indicate the direction of magnetic field.

electron is moving along x axis and electric field direction is along negative y direction,so that electron will expierience force in the negative y direction,if u apply fleming's right hand thumb rule such that magnetic field direction(fore finger )is along negative z direction, then force due to magnetic field is along positive y direction.then net force will be zero.
