Magnetic flux

None

A circular loop of radius R, carrying a current I , lies in the x-y plane with its centre at the origin. What is the total magnetic flux through x-y plane. Support ur answers wid correct reasons.

flux is nothing but the total amount of magnetic lines entering OR leaving any surface...now the field lines which enter from the inside of loop goes out from outside the loop...so the net flux is zero

its right......NET/TOTAL flux is the sum of flux enterning the area/Plane and flux leaving it

In this case, its zero as flux is not stored or lost in any manner when it travels past the x-y plane
