Magnetism (eq of traj)

None

A particle of mass m and charge q is projected from the origin wih a velocity v= v_xi + v_yj+ v_zk A uniform magnetic field B = B₀k exists in space

if v_z is zero find the equation of trajectory ????

x^2 + y^2 + 2myv/qB - 2mxv/qB = 0

note- the v in the third term is v(x) and the v in the fourth term is v(y)

I'm getting

(x - (mv_y/ qB_o))² + (y + (mv_x/qB_o))² = m²(v_x²+v_y²)/q²B_o²

I'll post the soln if it's right.
