mag moment = pole strngth x length
hence pole strngth = M/L
the new distance b/w the poles is 21/2 L
so new mag moment = 21/2 M

The new distance will be L/sqrt(2) So new moment is M/sqrt(2)

as M=NIA so when it is folded up then A'=A/4 and N' =2N and I will remain the same . so M'=M/2 . I hope my approach was right .
