by amperes loop we determine the net magnetic feild acting. This does not mean that the value of B is zero it means the net B acting over that length is zero. It can be more clearly uderstood by the interpretation of graph as in integration like in case of sinx the integral of graph b/w 0 to 2pi is zero but that does not mean that the area under the graph is also zero but its net sum is zero.

bhuwan it doesnt matter whether the wire is hollow or solid ...current always flows on the surface of the conductors...the ques we do on current distribution on an area mention uniform distribution throughout the area but in general current always flows on the surface...

While taking a closed loop in amperes circuital law we always take the loop such that the net field acting at any point on the loop is uniform.
When taking a circular loop round a wire there is enclosed current by the loop but while taking the loop inside the wire there is no enclosed current. So the field inside the wire at any point comes out to be zero.
