we have a uniform magnetic field 7i + 3j. and acceleration is x i + 7j.how do we find x?

Engineering Entrance , Medical Entrance , AIPMT , JEE Main , AIIMS , JEE Advanced , Physics , Magnetism

man r u out of ur mind?? one side we have magnetic field and on the other we have acceleration.. how can u compare them both???

Do crossmultiplication and equate it to 0 as magnetic field is always perpendicular to the acceleration.

MAGNETIC FIELD IS ALWAYS PERPENDICULAR TO FORCEFORCE=M*acc.acc.is is direction of forceto mag field will be perpendicular to acceleration..use dot product so x=-3
